Andy's Farm Ribbon Cutting Celebration!

Join the Hickman County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 7 at 11:30 AM as we celebrate the official ribbon cutting for Andy’s Farm, one of Hickman County’s most beloved family-run operations.

Andy's Farm is more than a farm, it’s a local hub of hard work, craftsmanship, and heart. From their on-site fiber mill, where wool and alpaca fiber are carefully spun into beautiful yarns, to their farm store stocked with farm-raised meats, eggs, raw dairy products, and handmade fiber goods, Andy’s Farm has become a favorite destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Stop by to meet Todd, Wendi, and family, tour the farm, and explore their thoughtfully curated selection of local goods and gift items at their beautiful farm store.

Miss Merry Christmas Beauty Pageant

Join us for the annual Miss Merry Christmas Beauty Pageant! Contestants of all ages will shine in categories from Baby Snowflake to Ms. Silver Bells, plus the special Mother/Daughter division, Ms. Bows & Bells.

Pageants begin at 11:00 AM and run throughout the afternoon, with opportunities to compete for extra titles such as Best Smile, Best Hair, Best Dress, and Best Eyes.

Entry fees: $35 if registered by October 25, or $45 up to one hour before your pageant time. Admission is just $5 for adults, $3 for K–12 students, and free for children 4 and under.

Fall Festival at The East Hickman Public Library

Fall Festival at The East Hickman Public Library will be next Thursday, from 3:30-6.

Costume judging will happen between 3:30 and 4:45. COSTUMES MUST BE HOMEMADE TO BE CONSIDERED. There WILL be prizes for age groups 0-4, 5-12, 13-17, and 18+ (so 4 prizes total), and candy and fun activities for all. They will also have Hickman Humane Society here!!! Come spend some time celebrating fall fun!

Suicide Prevention Awareness Month is dedicated to sharing resources, personal stories, and building connections to prevent suicide. This proclamation symbolizes our community's unified effort to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and support those in need.

Featured Speakers:

  • American Legion Post 36 and American Legion Auxiliary (Be the One program)
