  • Save time by completing your health questions in advance with RapidPass.

  • Download the Blood Donor App to track your donations, get your donor card, and follow your donation’s journey.

Donate between August 29 and September 21 for a chance to receive one of four limited-edition Red Cross x PEANUTS T-shirts (while supplies last).

Suicide Prevention Awareness Month is dedicated to sharing resources, personal stories, and building connections to prevent suicide. This proclamation symbolizes our community's unified effort to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and support those in need.

Join Pinewood Canoe & Camp for a fun-filled week of adventure, community, and giving back to the river we love!

🗑️ What to Do:

  • Collect rubbish items such as:

    • Fishing line/hooks/lures

    • Shoes/flip-flops

    • Plastic containers/wrappers/bottles

    • Glass/pieces of glass

    • Metal cans

    • Cigarette butts

    • Tires (as many as you can safely handle)

    • Miscellaneous items (clothing, phones, keys, building materials, odd finds)

  • Play I Spy on the River:

    • Spot river otters, turtles, fishes, dragonflies, blue herons, or bald eagles.

🎁 Rewards:

  • All participants receive a thank-you gift.

  • Top collector of each day wins a grand prize!

💡 Bring reusable bags for trash collection if possible (bags provided if needed). Personal trash doesn’t count, please bag it separately. Drop off collected trash at the blue barrels across from the take-out driveway.

Free Webinar For New Business

Attention, new business owners!

Join the Department of Revenue on Wednesday, July 9 at 8:30 Central time for a free webinar designed for new businesses.

Participants will learn about state tax obligations for new businesses in Tennessee and other resources that may help their businesses. Each new business webinar, offered quarterly, covers topics such as tax registration, sales and use tax, business tax, franchise and excise taxes, and how to get help from the Department of Revenue and other relevant state agencies.

The Department of Revenue is responsible for administering state tax laws and motor vehicle title and registration laws, and collecting taxes and fees associated with those laws. The department collects about 87 percent of total state revenue. During the 2024 fiscal year, it collected $22.2 billion in state taxes and fees and more than $4.7 billion in taxes and fees for local governments.
