Hickman County Arts and Crafts Guild Meeting
The monthly Hickman County Arts and Crafts Guild meeting is held on the third Monday night of the month, March through December. We meet at the Hickman County Public Library, 120 West Swan Street, Centerville at 6:00 pm. All are welcome!

East Hickman Public Library Family Game Night
Join the East Hickman Public Library for a fun filled evening of games and laughter! Enjoy snacks, play classic favorites, learn new games, or bring one to share with family and friends.

Play I Spy on the River:
Spot river otters, turtles, fishes, dragonflies, blue herons, or bald eagles.

Top collector of each day wins a grand prize!
💡 Bring reusable bags for trash collection if possible (bags provided if needed). Personal trash doesn’t count, please bag it separately. Drop off collected trash at the blue barrels across from the take-out driveway.

Free Webinar For New Business
Attention, new business owners!
Join the Department of Revenue on Wednesday, July 9 at 8:30 Central time for a free webinar designed for new businesses.
Participants will learn about state tax obligations for new businesses in Tennessee and other resources that may help their businesses. Each new business webinar, offered quarterly, covers topics such as tax registration, sales and use tax, business tax, franchise and excise taxes, and how to get help from the Department of Revenue and other relevant state agencies.

The Department of Revenue is responsible for administering state tax laws and motor vehicle title and registration laws, and collecting taxes and fees associated with those laws. The department collects about 87 percent of total state revenue. During the 2024 fiscal year, it collected $22.2 billion in state taxes and fees and more than $4.7 billion in taxes and fees for local governments.
