🎨 Poster Contest: Fall Beats & Sweet Treats! 🍁

Centerville Main Street is inviting all K–5 Hickman County classrooms to design a fall‑festive poster for our Sept 27 event!

🏆 Prize: The LOCAL Place is treating each winning class to an Ice Cream Social with delicious vanilla ice cream, toppings, and sprinkles!

Who & How:

• Divisions: K–5th grade (one poster per classroom)

• Student participation (minimum they complete on their own):

K = 40% • 1st = 50% • 2nd = 60% • 3rd = 70% • 4th = 80% • 5th = 90%

• Tips: Texture & 3D elements encouraged, be bold and imaginative!

Supplies (first‑come, first‑served):

Each participating class can receive one 36"×48" kraft paper sheet & 12 pastel markers. A limited number of supplies is available; get yours while they last! We can deliver to schools upon request. You can also customize your poster with any art supplies you have on hand: crayons, pens, glue sticks, yarn, or anything you have on hand!

How to Participate (Teachers):

🍁The contest is open to all Hickman County Schools.

Deadlines & Display:

• Submission deadline: Thursday, Sept 25 (contact Brenda for pickup)

• Posters displayed along the courthouse sidewalks at Fall Beats & Sweet Treats

• Community voting: 7:00 PM during the event (Sat, Sept 27 | 6–10 PM)

• Hosted by Centerville Main Street
